#6 grade 60 black steel rebar A-996 axle grade rebar is manufactured using train axles as its only raw material source and is made from 100% recycled materials. This provides engineers and contractors with the opportunity to develop valuable LEED points, while utilizing rebar equivalent to A-615. We offer both A-996 and A-615 rebar, which most fabricators prefer, at similar price points.
#6 Rebar
#6 rebar is ideally used in concrete reinforcement applications. Specifically, this reinforcement bar is found in foundation construction and repair, retaining walls and tilt-up walls. It is also used as a strengthening compound in caissons, pre-cast masonry products and deck-grade beams. Finally, #6 rebar is occasionally used in the road and highway construction industry in the creation and maintenance of new and existing roadways. “19MM” is the metric equivalent of #6 rebar.

- Nominal diameter: 0.75 inches (19.05 millimeters)
